Here's a long hippi dress I found at Veronica's closet - which I've cut down and readjusted to be a tunic top with additional shirring at the chest area.
This was a man's 'America's Cup' shirt and a woman's top - the centre part is the colour from another top, all to make a nice long tunic.
The ladies above and I had a great day, going to Veronica's Closet and getting cheap clothing to have a go at sewing together. It worked well. The outfits above are the result of that trip.
These dead vampires were made out of left over fabric, stuffed and painted.
This is a top and pullover combined.
Another man's shirt - lumberjack like - with sleeves cut off and cuffs made into side plackets, final result a waistcoat.
Love this top, reconstructed into a long tunic.
And the one below is a woman's crimped top, joined to a lovely hank of material like an oil slick below, and paua beads dotted around the middle.
I wear the jumper/tunic combination below a lot in the winter. The coloured red heart buttons around the neckline really add to it.
And this one was made entirely myself, so it's a construct rather than a reconstruct. Has musical instruments up the middle.
The long tunic is my favorite on this one and the tights are perfect with it!
ReplyDeleteTHANKS, Jennifer. Yeah, it's one of my favorites too.
